Michael Schlanger, Esq.
Michael Schlanger's practice runs the gamut of commercial practice and related litigation. He handles all aspects of disputes and agreements between partners, shareholders, and buyers and sellers of small businesses. He represents the Board of Directors of several residential cooperative apartment buildings and is regularly involved in the purchase and sale of condominiums, cooperatives, private homes and commercial properties. In addition, Michael handles trusts and estates, as well as employment contract and severance matters on behalf of executives and other professionals. He litigates these matters and other commercial disputes in all trial and appellate courts in the New York Metropolitan area and has both arbitrated matters and served as an arbitrator.
Michael was admitted to the NY State Bar in 1963. He received his BA degree from the University of Michigan and his JD from Northwestern University School of Law. Michael is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and the American Bar Association, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Workers' Rights Center of New York.

Daniel Schlanger, Esq.
Daniel Schlanger joined Schlanger & Schlanger, LLP in 2007 after working as a staff attorney at Legal Aid Society of Cleveland. While at Legal Aid, he founded the Northeast Ohio Wage Project, which assists low-income people owed wages, and worked in Legal Aid's Consumer law unit.
Dan received his law degree from Harvard Law School, cum laude, in 2004. While attending law school, he co-founded HLS Advocates for Human Rights, and served as that organization's first president. Following graduation, Dan clerked for the Hon. R. Lanier Anderson, III on the United States Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit. He received his undergraduate degree from Carleton College, magna cum laude, in 1994. Prior to attending law school, he spent seven years working in sustainable agriculture, including five years as the owner and manager of a certified organic vegetable farm located outside of Sacramento.
Dan is admitted to practice in both New York and Ohio. His practice focuses on consumer protection and wage & hour litigation. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, the National Employment Law Association, and the New York State and Westchester County Bar Associations.
